Most of the books you read these days on the Pit Bull Terrier just don't do this great breed justice. I rarely seem to find even a historical summary worth reading. I think some of the authors didn't even own Pit Bulls. So, I went back. Way back to find some of the first books written on the Pit Bull Terrier. One of those early books was "The Sporting Bull Terrier” written by Eugene Glass in 1914. I was able to purchase one of the few original copies around (more money than I've ever paid for a book I might add) But, it was well worth it. This book is full of historically significant information and even some breeding, training, and care tips that I plan to implement right away. You can truly get a real education on the American Pit Bull Terrier from this book.
